Speaker:and do that for us.
Speaker:We would love to earn your five-star review.
Speaker:Today's tip comes from RSPA and PPA Certified Pickleball Pro, Jim Carella.
Speaker:Have a listen and let us know what you think.
Speaker:Hi, this is Jim Carella.
Speaker:AKA Jimbo Pickleball.
Speaker:Today we're going to discuss Valleys.
Speaker:Pickleball is really played up close to the net, seven feet away, matter of fact, right on
Speaker:the non-Valle line.
Speaker:So Valleys are essential.
Speaker:One of the first Valleys you should learn and the most important I feel is the Block Valle.
Speaker:It's a Valle that defends your body from a speeding third shot or fifth shot drive.
Speaker:You hold the paddle out in front.
Speaker:Keep the paddle face very still.
Speaker:You're obviously trying to hit the sweet spot, which is very small.
Speaker:So focus on that ball all the way.
Speaker:Block it back, hopefully with lots of success.
Speaker:And you'll have a happy pickling day.
Speaker:Well there you have it.
Speaker:We want to thank reGeovinate.com for use of the studio and Signature Tennis for their
