Hey hey, this is Shaun with the GoTennis! Podcast powered by Signature Tennis.

Speaker:

Today's tennis tip comes from Ben Hesley of Bull Shark Sports.

Speaker:

Have a listen and let us know what you think.

Speaker:

Hi, this is Ben Hesley of Bull Shark Sports.

Speaker:

Today's tip is on why tennis is the sport for all sports.

Speaker:

Parents, if you haven't done so yet, get your kid into tennis.

Speaker:

Whether they play volleyball, lacrosse, soccer, softball, baseball, any ball sport is going

Speaker:

to require tracking skills.

Speaker:

And tennis, by nature of being one on one mostly, magnifies this development.

Speaker:

I often tell my players that tennis is nothing more than playing catch, but using rackets.

Speaker:

And the more players get on the court and learn and develop rally skills, they are going

Speaker:

to be better at tracking the ball and that's going to transfer into their ability to track

Speaker:

the ball in the other sports that they play.

Speaker:

I'm a huge advocate for multi-sport athletes and those athletes playing some form of tennis.

Speaker:

Hope today's tip helps.

Speaker:

I hope your kids will go on the court and use tennis as a vehicle to help them out in other

Speaker:

sports and have a great day.

Speaker:

Well there you have it.
