Speaker:Hi, I'm Rob Carver, author of the book, "366 Days of Tennis," a tip of data improve your game.
Speaker:And today I got a great tip for you to help you when you're losing a match.
Speaker:This is something I share with the player just the other day when she and her partner were losing.
Speaker:I told her, take your eyes off the scoreboard and keep your focus on the spin of the ball.
Speaker:And she said, what do you mean spin of the ball?
Speaker:I told her, I said, watch the spin coming in.
Speaker:When that ball is coming towards you, I want you literally try to see the spin on the ball.
Speaker:When you focus on the spin of the ball, you're forgetting about the score,
Speaker:your opponents, and all these other external factors that you can't control.
Speaker:You quiet your mind and focus on seeing the ball.
Speaker:Try it next time and see if you can turn your losing game into a winning game.
Speaker:As always, hang tough and have a great day.
