Adult Spring Leagues
Men’s Tennis League
You’re likely to find the grill fired up and beverages in the cooler awaiting you on Saturday mornings in the spring and fall. Consider creating a new team or joining an established one if this sounds like fun to you! Teams are formed and managed by individual members and play is out of ALTA-approved facilities, including tennis centers, private clubs and neighborhoods.

Thursday Women’s Tennis League
If it fits your schedule, we highly recommend tennis on Thursdays, when Southern hospitality is front and center as home teams welcome visitors to their courts with some pretty good eats and some darn good tennis. (Just so you know, it’s not an ALTA rule that food be provided; it’s just become a fun tradition.) The Thursday Women’s League is open to women 18 and older. Matches are held on Thursday mornings in spring and fall. Each season includes seven weeks of regular play followed by playoffs and City Finals. Playing levels include AA, A, B and C ensuring a competitive, fun experience for all players regardless of ability.

ALTA Documents
Need ALTA information? You’re in the right place for rules, handbooks, guides and season packets that will answer questions and provide necessary instructions for playing ALTA. Document availability is role-based. If you are a captain or other team leader, you will have access to more information than a regular member to help you do your job. ALTA tennis follows the USTA Rules of Tennis found in Friend at Court. ALTA pickleball follows the USA Pickleball Official Rulebook. You should also consult ALTA’s rules for specific guidelines concerning league play and other ALTA-sponsored events. Those rules provide information on ALTA-specific regulations, such as default, forfeiture, retirement, scheduled match, sandbagging, inclement weather, rules specific to each league and the Junior Challenge Ladder.
