The ATA South HBCU High School Tennis Combine is back!
We will host this event on Saturday, December 2nd – Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, located at Sugar Creek Golf and Tennis in East Atlanta. This event will be a round robin showdown of High School tennis talent. THE FIRST 16 BOYS and 16 GIRLS WILL BE SELECTED so please register as soon as you can.
Lunch will be served. All registered players will receive a t-shirt. 1st place player of their round robin division will be awarded a medal, an ATA South hoodie and a Gift Card worth $$. Our 2nd place players will be awarded with a prize as well.
MORE ABOUT THIS EVENT:
This HBCU High School Tennis Player Combine will start Saturday morning at 8am December 2, 2023 at Sugar Creek Golf & Tennis in East Atlanta and end late Sunday afternoon. All matches will be played on Hard Courts. The play format will be best of 2 sets to 4 games, must win set by 2 games. In lieu of a third set the players will compete in a 10 point tie-breaker. Competition play will be round robin format to ensure all players are guaranteed multiple matches.
LEVEL BASE PLAY ZONES:
WTN 30 – 25. Based on registration, we will try and build each division based on WTN play zones. Exceptions will be made if players do not meet the play zone requirements, so don’t hesitate to REGISTER TODAY.
GRADE LEVEL COMPETITORS THAT FIT WITHIN PLAYZONE:
9th – 12th (JV & Varsity Tennis Team Players as well as USTA Tournament Players)
LIVE STREAMING:
HBCU College coaches are invited to attend. Some matches will be live streamed from the American Tennis Association’s IG page and the ATA South IG page. More info on this will come through social media.
