About the HBCU National Tennis Championship
The HBCU National Tennis Championship has always stood for providing schools with the opportunity to compete in a tournament during the Fall to allow players to meet, compete, and be crowned National Champions at the end of the tournament, both individually and as teams.
The HBCU National Tennis Championship is open to HBCU schools interested in participating. Every year, we have over 15 collegiate institutions (over 30 men’s and women’s tennis programs) with close to 250 players competing in slated events, for both singles and doubles.

We are now accepting the first 20 boys and 20 girls (HS juniors & seniors only) with a World Tennis Number (WTN) of 30 and below. The cost is $20.
The deadline to apply is September 6th, but once the spots are filled, registration will close. First come, first served.Â

HBCU Sponsorship Package
ATTENTION HBCU ALUMNI FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY:
We will be holding a very fun Doubles Alumni Mixer Tournament for all former HBCU National Championship competitors and HBCU alumni players from around the country! There will be a men’s doubles draw, women’s doubles draw, and a mixed doubles draw. The scoring format will either be best 2 out of 3 10-point tiebreakers, or one regular set to 6 games to keep it short and fun (format is dependent on the number of entries). $50 entry for the tournament ($25/Player). Trophies for finalists doubles teams. You and your partner can register under the INFO tab.
