500 Hitting Walls Added in 5 Years
We’re adding hitting walls to Metro Atlanta, where individuals can practice where practice is FREE. Our goal is to add 500 hitting walls in the next 5 years. Whether your neighborhood courts need a wall or your club needs an upgrade, the GoTennis! Foundation wants to help. Many of us grew up hitting against a wall (or a garage door) and many have spent hours practicing as adults on a wall. Since we believe that “practice is FREE,” and hitting on a wall is one of the best ways to practice and improve your game when you’re alone, definitely consider donating to this project or apply if you know a great location for a new or upgraded hitting wall.
Sponsoring Aspiring Players
The GoTennis! Foundation is passionate about developing young players by providing the necessary support. We’re sponsoring players with great potential who are interested in playing their first year of junior tournaments.With the possibility of creating legendary athletes like Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, encouraging young athletes to choose tennis over other options, the GoTennis! Foundation will support as many youth players as possible to continue their journey toward a fulfilling tennis career.
Donating Equipment to Schools
GoTennis! is supporting the coaches and high school organizers who offer so much time in the spring helping student athletes enjoy tennis matches through their varsity and junior varsity programs. We’re donating sports equipment to schools helping coaches and volunteers get the most out of their after school athletics. With many schools lacking strong booster club systems and significantly under funded, the GoTennis! Foundation can help with your donations of well cared for used equipment or funding.
