Speaker:we often make grand claims of new year's resolutions.
Speaker:And if you haven't already made
Speaker:and subsequently abandoned your wonderful life changes,
Speaker:by now we encourage you to consider targeting
Speaker:a rejuvenation of sorts.
Speaker:Here are 24 options for your 2024 rejuvenation,
Speaker:as we call it.
Speaker:We have organized them into the three pillars
Speaker:of body, mind, and soul.
Speaker:So choose a few that work for you.
Speaker:Here we go.
Speaker:Focusing on your body.
Speaker:Number one, start your day with warm water and lemon.
Speaker:Number two, get good sleep.
Speaker:Number three, keep moving,
Speaker:remember, moving in this life.
Speaker:Yoga and pilates are mind and body practices
Speaker:for all levels and ages.
Speaker:Number four, drink more water.
Speaker:Number five, heal your gut.
Speaker:Your bacteria affects your mood,
Speaker:eliminating inflammatory foods,
Speaker:reduce sugar and process foods.
Speaker:Eat antioxidant rich foods,
Speaker:decrease your salt intake,
Speaker:and eat the smaller amounts yet eat more often.
Speaker:Number six, when working, take breaks
Speaker:at least every 90 minutes to stand up and walk around.
Speaker:Number seven, consider taking some vitamins and supplements,
Speaker:get your prebiotics from your food
Speaker:and consider taking a probiotic as well.
Speaker:Number eight, invest in a personal trainer
Speaker:or fitness regimen.
Speaker:Now, focusing on your mind.
Speaker:Number one, be present.
Speaker:Focus on what you are doing.
Speaker:Number two, consider less multitasking in your life.
Speaker:Be present at meals and put your phone away
Speaker:when around friends and family.
Speaker:Number three, meditation comes in many forms,
Speaker:find your preferred quiet time.
Speaker:Number four, learn new things often to feed your mind.
Speaker:Number five, create or perfect tomorrow
Speaker:and or even self-care rituals, exercise, meditation,
Speaker:reading or writing and even carving out time
Speaker:for some rice or sunsets.
Speaker:Number six, turn off your computers and phones
Speaker:at the end of the day.
Speaker:I know what you're gonna say,
Speaker:buy an armed cloak if you have to.
Speaker:Number seven, say no two more things.
Speaker:Attend less events and be selective
Speaker:about your friends and social engagements.
Speaker:Number eight, prioritize your mental health,
Speaker:which may or may not mean professional therapy.
Speaker:A health coach could be all you really need.
Speaker:And lastly, but possibly most important is your soul.
Speaker:Number one, be proactive with as many things as you can.
Speaker:This will reduce your stress significantly.
Speaker:Number two, recapitulation is powerful.
Speaker:Consider a daily evening journal.
Speaker:Number three, discover your passions
Speaker:and seek out what you really care about
Speaker:and what fulfills you.
Speaker:This way, if you have not already done so,
Speaker:you could even find your life purpose.
Speaker:Number four, prayer is a form of recapitulation and journaling
Speaker:and can also be very powerful.
Speaker:However, you pray, consider making it a habit.
Speaker:Remember, peace only comes from within.
Speaker:Number five, practice gratitude.
Speaker:Active thankfulness can reduce stress,
Speaker:improve your overall mood and just make you feel better.
Speaker:Number six, get outdoors.
Speaker:The sun and the moon are rejuvenating
Speaker:as our other elements only found where there is fresh air.
Speaker:Number seven, clean your house and your car and keep in that way.
Speaker:Declarate in your spaces, can declare your mind
Speaker:and ease in the direction of rejuvenating the soul.
Speaker:Number eight, eliminate alcohol.
Speaker:My husband has a theory that I also agree with.
Speaker:That alcohol drains your spirit from your body,
Speaker:which is at this connection,
Speaker:anti-therical to a healthy body, mind and soul.
Speaker:Well, there you go.
Speaker:Choose as many as you find relevant to your own path
Speaker:and if you are on the wrong path,
Speaker:consider using some of these concepts
Speaker:to start heading in the right direction.
