Hi, I'm Rob Carver, author of the book,

Speaker:

366 Days of Tennis,

Speaker:

A Tip a Day to Improve Your Game.

Speaker:

Today, I got a great tip for you

Speaker:

on how to handle difficult weather conditions.

Speaker:

This is where I don't use very often.

Speaker:

It's called Never Complain About the Conditions.

Speaker:

Yeah, I know it's windy, it suns in your eyes,

Speaker:

it's cold, but let your opponents complain about it.

Speaker:

Let them give life to the conditions

Speaker:

and make that be a problem for them.

Speaker:

Think about this way.

Speaker:

If your backhand was off today,

Speaker:

would you tell your opponents you're struggling

Speaker:

with your backhand?

Speaker:

Of course not.

Speaker:

So why tell them that the weather bothers you?

Speaker:

Let it be their problem, all right?

Speaker:

Deal with it, hang tough, have a great day.

Speaker:
