The 2023 trip to Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day (AAKD)/US Open Tennis Grand Slam from August 25-28 is inspired by and dedicated to Coach Wink who unfortunately passed away in November 2022. One of his last wishes was that the mission of going to AAKD/US Open continue to broaden and enrich the lives of children who primarily reside on the South side of Atlanta. Coach Wink’s inspiration came from Sharon Lester and Stephanie T. McLoyds who proceeded him in death. Coach Wink’s NJLT made it happen over the last 8 years with the support of many and financial supporter, Jonathan Hart, founder of AYSI (Athletes Youth Sports Institute).
In 2023, MYLTF (Made You Love Tennis Foundation), a 501(c)(3) founded by Eric Jackson joined the cause.
