Senior Mixed League

If you like it all, and you’re an adult 45 or older, then the Senior Mixed Doubles League is where it’s at. Each dual meet offers men’s doubles, women’s doubles and NEW the winter of 2024 an additional line of mixed doubles making this a five line league. It’s double the fun! The Senior Mixed Doubles League is open to men and women 45 years of age and older and plays on Saturdays during the winter. Each season includes seven weeks of regular play followed by playoffs and City Finals.

League Details

Each team must have a minimum of 6 men and 6 women. Senior Mixed is now a five line league. A player cannot be added to a roster if his/her dues are not paid. Team placement is determined by previous performance of the team and its current members. If new to an established team, a player’s history can impact the team’s level and is evaluated on a hierarchy of previous league play. League officials look at, in this order, Senior Mixed level (most recent past season), Senior Men/Senior Women’s level (most recent past season), Men/Sunday/Thursday Women’s level (prior two seasons), Mixed Doubles level (prior two seasons), Senior Day Men/Senior Day Women’s level (prior two seasons). If player history in both the Sunday and Thursday leagues the same season, ALTA will use the higher rating.
